It was the best organized festival I've ever been to and I have only good memories of it. The care and love of all the people, organizers and volunteers is something that still moves me!

It is a celebration of comics and their people, creators and readers. We wouldn't change it for any other festival, in Greece or abroad!

I find that for the past 4 years I have been eagerly awaiting the official announcement of the start of the Chaniartoon Comics and Animation Festival every time. Thanks to this I traveled to Crete for the first time. The experience is unique every time: People dedicated to art and culture, with passion, ingenuity and a lot of kindness. I feel like I'm traveling to a different reality every time. If there is a Wonderland for comics and animation, it's definitely called Chaniartoon.

In no other festival I have been to, neither in Greece nor abroad, is there such a strong element of hospitality as in Chaniartoon. Open, full of smiles, it highlights independent artists like us, in the most beautiful way.

After two participations in Chaniartoon's Artist Alley I can say with certainty that this is the most welcoming comics festival in Greece! The team and volunteers make us feel at home and together with the love we receive from the festival visitors are the best reasons to look forward to coming back to Chania!

If you ask me how Chania, comics, animation, technology and a lot of passion combine, then Chaniartoon is definitely the answer.

Chaniartoon knew well how much he cared for us artists at the festival, warm, welcoming, offered us to give the world art and the world embraced us.

It is incredible to be a young artist in Greece and to be allowed to exist. For three days we are given the framework and means to show what we work hard for and are treated with love and respect. As if we are something important to the place in a country where the practical difficulties make you feel transparent and insignificant. At Chaniartoon we are the dear guests, enjoying the best form of hospitality that helps us work harder for the festival. Personally, I now see my presence there as an opportunity to learn and develop.

Chaniartoon one of the most beautifully curated comics festivals where for three days we had the opportunity to be in Chania among other creators and people who really care, we attended interesting presentations and workshops by artists, and we returned with creative batteries charged

The only thing I can say about the festival is this: if your team transfers to other cities, so we can also make a similar festival here in my place.
