Call for network of local youth artists of Chania

We invite young artists from Chania, aged 18-35, to a meeting to network and support them at the city level. During the meeting, four main objectives will be pursued for the youth groups and individuals of local artists:

• Mapping and presentation of the groups and individual entities of the artistic scene in Chania.
• Recording the goals, needs, and issues concerning the artists.
• Creating a network for the young artists of Chania, offering a platform for communication and promotion.
• Exploration of ways of support, funding opportunities, and potential collaborations.

The event is open to all.

After the talk, she will happily answer questions about human space exploration, the science of creativity, and putting STEAM (science-technology-engineering-art-math) into action.

Space is a popular setting in many formsof art. Animation is no exception. In this presentation, planetary scientist, NASA astronaut, and longtime anime fan Dr. Stanley G. Love surveys space anime shows both famous and obscure, with special focus how accurately (or not!) theytreat their  subject matter. Following the presentation, Dr. Love welcomes questions from the audience on any topic related to space exploration, space science, and anime.
