The Narrative Charm of Corto Maltese
The presentation is based on two research projects by writer Anna Botsou.
The first is her undergraduate thesis, entitled *Unconventional Narrative Techniques in the Corto Maltese Comics*, which she defended in 2024 at the Department of Art Theory and History of the Athens School of Fine Arts.
The second is her master's thesis (forthcoming publication), which explores the role of the morphology of comics' structural elements in storytelling. This research was conducted within the framework of the Interdepartmental Master's Programme in *Semiotics, Culture and Communication* at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
