SUMMARY:Artist Alley Submission 2026
DESCRIPTION:Application for the Artist Alley of Chaniartoon 2025\, which wi
 ll take place on 25\, 26 and 27 September 2026 in Chania.
 A prerequisite
  for participation is to have at least one publication or self-publication
 \, with a minimum size of 8 pages\, released between 2025 and 2026.Artists
  who produce comic works using artificial intelligence (AI) applications a
 re not accepted.Artists who promote racism\, discrimination\, etc.\, in an
 y form are not accepted.
 The selection criteria are as follows:
 1. Rel
 evance to the art of comics2. Publications &amp\; self-publications3. Orig
 inal material4. Aesthetic criteria
 After the submission deadline\, the f
 estival jury will evaluate the applications and inform the selected partic
 ipants.
 In case of selection\, participants will have to pay a fee of 70
  euros\, which will cover the following:
 1. Full or half table in the Ar
 tist Alley (1.5x0.80m and 0.75x0.80m respectively)
 2. Main meal for the 
 3 days
 3. Coffee or beverage\, one for each day
 4. Discounts on air an
 d ferry tickets (for Greek participants)
 5. Festival products
 6. Many 
 surprises!
 The amount must be paid within 15 days after the announcement
  of the results.
 After 30 days from the announcement of the results\, no
  changes or refunds can be made in case of non-payment.
  
 In case of 
 selection but non-appearance at the festival\, there is a penalty of exclu
 sion from future events.
 As Chaniartoon selects artists who work with co
 mics\, and the selection depends on the relevance to the art\, as well as 
 the relevant publications/self-publications\, please clearly state your pu
 blications with relevant links on the form.
