Artist Alley, refers to the physical presence of artists, with an exhibition table 1.5x0.7m, on the three days 16-18 September 2022. The cost for participation is 50 euros, which includes ferry tickets, lunch and of course many treats. In addition, the artists have the obligation to donate to the event a copy of each comic exhibited, in support of the Chaniartoon Comic Library.

The general theme of Chaniartoon this year is sound and music. For the exhibition part, you can send works that are in this context. The field is too large. From comics that illustrate lyrics/songs, works accompanied by music tracks/soundtracks or even interactive installations. In this form, you can upload your proposal in the draft and we will contact you for all the details.

This year, for the first time, we will have at our disposal the entire facade of the festival building, the "Mikis Theodorakis" theatre, for projection mapping. On this big canvas, we will present festival content, but at the same time, we invite the artists to send us their own works. It can be static works or animation, comic or illustrations, original works or adaptations of old ones. The artistic creation can follow the architecture of the building (doors/windows) or it can treat the building like a big canvas. It is recommended that the works combine the general theme of the 6th Chaniartoon, sound-music. The final dimension of the project must be 3840. 1200px. Facade - Lines

In this year's 6th Chaniartoon event, we will have at our disposal the innovative 270-degree screen of the Municipality of Chania. It will feature festival content, but we invite artists to create their own works. The works can be static or animation, while it is good to combine the general theme of the 6th Chaniartoon, sound-music. The dimension of the projection is 9600x1200px (it is possible to display 360o content). In the form below you can send the draft of your proposal and we will contact you for details.
